ENGLISH DEBATE TOURNAMENT FINAL share

Our 10th grader Elara Asya Sezgin, who is the Head of Scientific and Artistic Projects in our school student assembly, published her first academic paper, “Perseid Meteorites Caught on IST60 Sky Camera”, as a result of her observations at Istanbul University Observatory Research Center, where she went for professional observation.
SERVET GÜLSÜN‘S PRESENTATION ABOUT ‘ALL THINGS MUST PASS SO DO EXAMS’ share
Okan University Candidate Relations Manager, Education Expert Servet Gülsün Şirin gave information about exam and professional selection to our 11th and 12th grade students. In this presentation, which helps university candidates to guide their futures and make the most appropriate career plan for them, she gave a speech that will guide young people on exam, future, profession and life preferences. In Şirin’s speech, our students obtained important tips that they could benefit in the university preparation marathon.
THE INTERNATIONAL MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND GENETIC CONFERENCE share
Within the scope of the event organized by our Biology Club of Acarkent Doğa Anatolian High School, our 9th, 10th and 11th grade students attended the 16th Winter School International Molecular Biology and Genetics Conference of Istanbul University.At the end of this 3-day certified program, our students had the opportunity to listen to the speeches of world-renowned academics

THE HEADLIGHT THAT SOLVES THE GLOSS OF THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS OF THE VEHICLES share
Elara Asya Sezgin and Efe Morgül, 11 IB class students, were invited to Bursa Tofaş Turkish Automobile Factory on January 08, 2020, after the presentation of their projects related to producing headlights that solve the gloss problem of high beam headlights with the R&D Unit under the main sponsorship of Tofaş. As a result of their projects with the car headlight that our students will produce under the main sponsorship of Tofaş, their names will be given to the products they produce.
THE 96th YEAR OF OUR REPUBLIC DAY share
As Acarkent Doğa College, we celebrated the 96th anniversary of the 29 October Republic Day with great enthusiasm. Our celebration was not only with our students; it was an extensive celebration with the participation of many parents. First of all, we held our traditional Republic March as we do every year. Then, we went to our conference hall and watched the beautiful and meaningful shows prepared by our primary and high school students after a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. We congratulate all our students, teachers and employees who contributed in the organization of our ceremony, and we celebrate the 96th anniversary of our Republic with enthusiasm.
WE KEEP OUR COASTS CLEAN share
Acarkent Doğa College, Nature and Future Club students and our school council students organized an environmental cleaning event on the Caddebostan Beach on Saturday, October 26, within the scope of the social development project they carried out together with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Marine Services. With this project, our students gained the appreciation of people who live in Caddebostan by cleaning the garbage on the Caddebostan Beach. In addition, with this this activity, our students understood the importance of protection of the environment, the continuation of ecological life and the cooperation between institutions.
COFFEE LOVERS IN BARISTA TRAINING share
Acarkent Doğa College 11-IB class students have completed a comprehensive training on the Barista profession supported by Coffee & Art Cafe for 4 weeks within the scope of the curriculum and earned a certificate.
Our students have successfully completed a comprehensive training on the Barista profession, from shop operation to learning how to make Turkish coffee, working with state-of-the-art machines, experiencing coffees produced with different methods.
BY RUNNING, WE REMOVED OBSTACLES… share
Acarkent Doğa Anadolu Lisesi students participated in Caddebostan night run organized in cooperation with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association (TOFD) on October 12.
Spinal cord paralysis youth and Sports Club (OFSK), which operates under the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralysis Association (TOFD), continues its activities to contribute to Turkish Sports by directing its orthopedically disabled and non-disabled particularly the spinal cord paralyzed members to sports events. The association organized a 6-stage running series for these purposes. 3 stages of the series consist of runs at night and three stages in the morning. Acarkent Doğa Anadolu Lisesi students who have participated in tabata workout, hitt workout, pilates and zumba activities before the run are looking forward to participating in the other runs of the series.
KOÇ UNIVERSITY INCUBATION CENTER share
Acarkent Doğa College 11 IB C class students visited Koç University Incubation Center to transform their project ideas into products and collaborate in the field of entrepreneurship. The necessary interviews for the acceptance of the project ideas of our students have been completed. We will exhibit our projects in our school in April.
